ACTIVITIES
Non-motorized water sports at The Fives Azul Beach Resort include paddle boats, kayak, snorkel gear, Hobie cats, boogie boards and water slides; Scuba lessons are available; Enhance your knowledge and participate in lessons of Spanish, yoga, dancing, ceramic painting, gymnastics, cooking and tequila tasting; small gym; kid's activity center for ages 4-12; and table games; and 3 pools (1 for kids).

BEACH:
This is a huge selling point at Azul Beach Resort The Fives. The beach is large with plenty of space to join other guests or find solitude. There are massage cabanas, hammocks, 10 shaded palapas, lounge chairs, and 20 beach cabanas outfitted with king size, four poster beds with retractable drapes and oversized pillows - perfect for a romantic day or night together.

At Azul Beach Resort The Fives Playa del Carmen a beach butler will answer your call for chilled bottled water, soft chilled face towels, spritz you with mineral water, offer a choice of reading magazines, fetch your favorite drink, serve you a snack, or order and serve you lunch. Did you forget suntan lotion way back at the room? No problem, the beach butler has a selection for you. Not to worry - there are three beach butlers each day.
One of the highlites here is the Beach Fish Picnic. Watch as fresh fish is delivered by boat to the chefs who prepare it right on the beach. Sunday through Wednesday a Beach Butler will take your lunch order around 11am and serve that lunch to you at 1:30pm.
There's plenty to do on this beach - beach volleyball, water aerobics, snorkel, regular beach parties, morning yoga classes, etc.
