Iberostar Paraiso Beach Hotel All-Inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico is the original hotel that began the fabulous Iberostar complex in 2000. To this day it remains a safe bet when ULTIMATE VACATIONS recommends a moderately priced 4 Star all inclusive resort in the Playa area. Year after year our clients request to return to Iberostar Paraiso Beach Hotel because they fear they might be disappointed if they try a different resort. We hear this routinely, and it is the greatest testimony you can pay a hotel.

With an extensive 2013 renovation rooms and restaurants have received a substantial upgrade. The complex has grown beautifully. P.B. Dye has designed an 18 hole golf course, the Playa Paraiso Golf Club. While not part of the all inclusive package guest here do receive a substantial discount when they play the course. An entire village, the Iberostar Playa Paraiso Shopping Center, has been developed including a multitude of shops, a large spa and disco, both of which serve all of the hotels within the complex. While Iberostar Paraiso Beach Hotel does not have quite the luxurious suite style accommodations its 4 ½ and 5 Star sister hotels have, it delivers a fantastic balance of quality and value. Steeped in colorful Mexican architecture the resort sits on a beautiful beach and has a terrific lake style pool including center islands covered with palm trees, waterfalls and Jacuzzi’s, plus a separate children’s pool, both surrounded by palm trees and huts.

There is a shuttle service within the hotel grounds every 15 minutes. Which makes it all the easier to get to all the activities the resorts offers. During the day, try aerobics, dance lessons, water polo, beach volleyball, basketball, Spanish lessons and many others. There are 1 multi-purpose court and 2 lit tennis courts (equipment included). The PADI Dive Center located right on the hotel’s beach offers catamarans, kayaks, snorkeling equipment and diving lessons in the pool for no extra charge. Optional dive and certification courses are available for an additional cost. There is always a different show with live music every night in the theater. You can also dance the night away at the Galaxy night club located in the shopping center. 

All of the 424 rooms are more than adequate after the renovations. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fan, private bathrooms with shower or bathtub and hair dryers, and a private balcony or patio. All are equipped with cable TV with remote control, mini-bar stocked with beer, bottled water and soft drinks; coffee maker; telephone; alarm clock; in-room safe deposit box; iron and ironing board. The 62 junior suites have the same amenities with the addition of a large living room. All rooms have either pool or garden views. There are no ocean view accommodations.

Conveniently located 30 minutes south of the Cancun airport and 20 minutes north of Playa del Carmen Iberostar Paraiso Beach Hotel shares facilities with Iberostar del Mar. Together they have 7 specialty restaurants you can make reservations for, plus 10 bars.
