EXCELLENCE RESORTS EXPANDING TO JAMAICA
Hot on the heels of opening Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, Excellence Group announced additional expansion. The long awaited Excellence Oyster Bay Jamaica has officially been announced.
Excellence Oyster Bay has been on the drawing board for nearly a decade. However Excellence Playa Mujeres, renovation to Excellence Riviera Cancun and Excellence Punta Cana, plus the complete new build development of Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana have taken priority.
Excellence Riviera Cancun
Finally Excellence Group announced groundbreaking will take place as soon as March, 2018 for this long awaited adult-only all-inclusive resort. The 325 suite resort will be located in Oyster Bay, about 30-minutes from the Montego Bay airport. This waterfront property is expected to open in the first half of 2018. The good news is that Excellence's two previous developments have opened early. But we all know timetables in Jamaica are more of a suggested guideline than a firm date.
Oyster Bay is a prime resort location on a private peninsula surrounded by ocean on one side and lagoon on the other. As usual suites at Excellence resorts are well above industry standard size-wise and Oyster Bay will be no exception with 800-square-feet junior suites and 2,000-foot upper level suites.
