FOOD & DRINK
As is typical with all Azul and El Dorado Resorts in the Karisma Resorts family, at The Fives Azul Beach Resort Playa del Carmen you will be treated to the true Gourmet Inclusive® experience. Expect delicious gourmet fare created by imaginative chefs using the freshest ingredients all served in specialty a la carte restaurants by attentive staff. In all, The Fives Azul Beach Resort has seven outstanding a la carte restaurants for dinner in addition to a beach club grill which is open for lunch and for themed or private dinners.
Restaurants are located in two main areas - The Fives Plaza and The Beach Club.
THE FIVES PLAZA
This new area features beautifully landscaped gardens, Koi filled ponds and a nearby cenote. This is home to three popular restaurants and two signature bars. The Plaza is a perfect setting for pre and post dinner cocktails. The Fitness Center, Vassa Spa and shops are found here as well.
THE BEACH CLUB
Home to five restaurants and bars overlooking the Caribbean Sea and Cozumel. The Beach Club is home to the Sky Wedding Deck with incredible views.

Sea Olive - Mediterranean
This seaside restaurant offers authentic Mediterranean fare for lunch and dinner. Sea Olive Features an indoor air-conditioned section as well as an outdoor terrace where you soak in amazing ocean views while you dine. The ocean views are great from Sea Olive, the service is a la carte and there is a semi-private dining area available for group dinners.
Lunch: Noon - 3:30pm
Dinner: 5pm - 10pm
KOH THAI - Wok Cuisine (Fives Plaza)
A 15-foot seated Buddha greets you on arrival. You can be sure of authentic Thai cuisine as the Chef arrived directly from Thailand to open this restaurant. Prepare yourself for Pad Thai, Green Curries and Coconut Soup and much more. For outdoor dining ask for one of pagodas floating over the Koi filled ponds.

OKA - Sushi Bar (Fives Plaza)
Located on the second floor and balcony overlooking Koh Thai and The Fives Plaza. Oka is dedicated and passionate about sushi, sashimi and tempuras. Oka is a fine place to enjoy a simple Junmai Sake or an ice cold Sapporo on the balcony and people watch the Fives Plaza.
FLAVOURS - World Cuisine (The Fives Plaza)
Flavours is a relaxed family oriented restaurant featuring international cuisine in an air conditioned space which overlooks a true cenote - a natural winding river unique to this destination.
Breakfast: 6:30am - 12:00am
Dinner: 5:30pm - 10:00pm
AREZZO - Italian (The Beach Club)
Located in a beautiful room right in front of the Caribbean Sea which you can view all the way to Cozumel through unobstructed floor-to-ceiling windows. Arezzo features an open kitchen where they prepare mouthwatering original recipes including pastas, stone oven pizza, grilled seafood, poultry and meats.
You can enhance your Italian dinner with a bottle from the over 100 labels in the glass wine cabinet.
