EL DORADO CASITAS ROYALE ACTIVITIES & BEACH
ULTIMATE VACATIONS Review, Description & Photos of El Dorado Casitas Royale Activities, Shows, 12 Pools & Beach.
There are plenty of activities at El Dorado Casitas Royale if you wish, including: 12 pools, one of which is a natural salt water pool; daily activities and entertainment program, including beach volleyball, aqua-aerobics, salsa lessons, low impact aerobics, meditation, Tai-Chi classes, and yoga; non-motorized water sports including the gear for paddleboats, kayaks and snorkeling; Scuba clinics in the pool; bicycles and tennis; two hard surface lighted tennis courts - rackets and balls included; fitness center including sauna and Turkish baths; complimentary shopping tours to Cancun and Playa del Carmen.
Motorized water activities are available for an additional fee. Two highly recommended complimentary on-site activities are: The escorted bike ride around the property by stables, cenotes, waterfalls, the Greenhouse and much more. And a tour of the 700,000 sq-foot Greenhouse, which produces organic vegetables and herbs, including cucumbers, bell peppers, chilies, basil, cilantro and mint - enough to accommodate El Dorado and Generations Resorts, many employees and area hospitals.
BEACH
The beach at El Dorado Casitas Royale is over a mile long and very wide. The beach area specifically in front of the Casitas is long and sandy but not terribly deep. However there are plenty of queen size beach beds for couples to lounge in and loungers for sunning. The over-water pier is fabulous and can be used for private group receptions and functions. Looking for something unique - perhaps private? There are a plethora of four poster thatched roof beach beds with curtains for privacy. So find a good book or perhaps a good partner and snuggle in comfort to the sound of the waves. You can even arrange a sleepover in a specially prepared beach bed. Lot's of couples do this. There is even a salt water pool perfect for snorkeling. Warning - there are sandbags (artificial reefs is the term) in the ocean which can be unsightly if you focus on them. However, they do a great job of breaking the hard waves, making the ocean here a great location to wade, snorkel and frolic. More importantly there is no erosion here. You will love being pampered by the beach waiters who take your drink orders.
