Lands End, Cabo San Lucas
During our stays we have swam with the Dolphins at Cabo Dolphins, did the Night Party Bus Cabo San Lucas Tour (a party bus for the pub crawl - yes we visited Sammy Hager's Cabo Wabo, along with the Giggling Marlin and El Squid Roe); thoroughly enjoyed the Sunset Dinner Cruise; did the fantastic Lands End Tour in a Speed Boat; and conquered the Zip-Line. If you are visiting between January and March the Gray Whales will put on a show for you, spouting within 100 feet of shore.
Los Cabos enjoys an amazing collection of resorts and private villas, each with a unique vantage point of either the Sea of Cortez or the Pacific Ocean. The rainy season, what there is of it, is in November. But Los Cabos is very dry. The hottest months are August and September.
One word of caution, the waters around Los Cabos are not ideal for swimming. In fact very few beaches are safe to swim. Strong waves pound the shore continuously and dangerous under toes are ever present. However, the beaches are spectacular and offer long uninterrupted miles of shore.
