On Feb 28 we blogged about the exciting new Hotel Xcaret Mexico. The blog garnered a big response from our audience due the uniqueness of the resort and the inclusion of tours. Guests at Xcaret Hotel Mexico enjoy complimentary entrance to Xcaret adventure-themed eco-parks. We thought it would be fun to blog about some of the cool park options included.
XCARET The original park. If you have not experienced Xcaret on an earlier trip - you should now. Some of the best features are the underground river, a snorkel lagoon and shark, stingray and dolphin encounter. But there's more: A jungle train, pools, a cultural show in the evening (very famous and popular), and a scenic tower.
XPLOR
Xplor has become and remains the most popular new excursion in the Cancun / Riviera Maya region. Everyone raves about it. There are two different zipline circuits: a cave swim adventure; underground rafting; ATV course through the jungle (must have a license and be over 18) with up to three passengers on an adventure that includes land, water and caves; and a hammock zipline that ends with a water landing. Kids should be at least 7 years or older for Xplor.
XEL-HA
Another long time favorite. Xel-Ha is for water lovers. For starters you can zipline into a river or rope-swing into a cenote. Checkout the lagoon with a beach to snorkel and swim. There's even a dedicated kids area featuring wading pools, fountains, a waterslide and much more. Xel-Ha is great for kids of all ages.
XENSES
Named after the senses you will use as you experience Xenses. We describe Xenses as a unique half-day experience. There are two different courses. One is wet and the other is dry. For the wet course, we of course recommend a bathing suite. The wet circuit includes a harnessed flying adventure, as well as taking mud baths. The dry circuit includes pitch-black dark caves and a course full of optical illusions. Kids should be age 7 and above for Xenses.
